Fond Memories of John

My husband and I worked with John in Chicago and spent a great deal of time together. One of our fondest memories was going to Puerto Vallarta with him, and although I had visited PV a few times before, that trip will always be my favorite. John had an amazing spirit, personality and zest for life. We lost touch a few years ago, and unfortunately, I couldn’t locate him—and I just found out what happened about five months ago. I can’t tell you the shock, saddness and disbelief when I discovered that he is no longer with us. I often reflect on all of the good times we had together, yet sad that I will never be able to speak or see him again. But he will always hold a special place in my heart and I am grateful that our paths crossed. I pray for his family and hope that God will watch over them and help them to stay strong.
John Hoffa Stacy Iannarone and friendsJohn, you may no longer be with us, but you will never be forgotten. I lit a candle in your honor, and I will continue do so every April 19 to pay tribute to such a wonderful human being who entered our lives. You were a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed friend.
